From the good folks at National Geographic

Here's a great video I watched today about bush pilots in Alaska. It's produced by national geographic and has some amazing scenery in it. For me it's fascinating how people live on the edge of civilization, and in many ways it seems their lives are happier being devoid of much of the technical extravagance we build into our lives in more urban parts of the world. Part of what draws me to spend time in the north is interest in that simple philosophy of happiness and adventure as part of everyday life that many of the folks in this video seem to have.
